On June 20-22, 2022, the Stop Flood Webinars were held, the purpose of which was to provide the representatives of communes, poviats and voivodships with practical knowledge on how to better manage flood risk.
For all those who could not participate in the online meetings, recordings of the meetings were prepared, which are now available on the Polish Waters channel.
At the meetings, the legal and practical aspects arising from the obligation to review and update risk management plans as well as other issues related to the implementation of activities provided for under FRMP / a FRMP were discussed, including obligations resulting from the Floods Directive, implementation of individual types of measures, the role of spatial planning in flood risk management, the need to take into account the results of aLWRP / FRMP in documents prepared by local government units, polder implementation process, operation of the Hydroportal, how to submit comments on subsequent updates of plans, and educational and information activities .
